A focus of my experimentation identifies norms and expectations around gender role, appropriateness, and inclusivity. I pursue the equilibrium where quality, construction, fit, and adaptability all reach their highest potential in the patternmaking process. My process turns to architecture and period infleunces during the design process. Looking to traditional silhouette, dressmaking technique, line, and shape to explore my experimentation.
