Plaid Skirt
The Plaid Denim skirt is made upcycled using secondhand cotton burgundy denim. Plaid fabric gifted by Fidelity Denim makes up the body of this skirt. The skirt was patterned to reduce waste by cutting the waistband in the middle of a square creating a hankercheif effect. The burgyndy denim was applied to the hem of the skirt to create an arched effect. The waistband is constructed using the adaptable sizing method. A strap of fabric is threaded through the waistband and fed through a buttonhole into a buckle. This skirt has two mirrored buckle sizers gathered to its smallest size. This skirt can be oened back up to fit larger bodies on their own terms.
