A creator of many things, Jake specializes in pattern making, garment construction, and sewing. On the side, they dabble in printmaking, graphic design, and silversmithing. Jake currently studies business and apparel design at Oregon State University.
The best way to reduce waste is to “buy less”. Jake sources the majority of their fabric and hardware from thrifted garments and scraps that might otherwise be discarded.
Even when sourcing recycled garments, Jake strives to “choose well”—supporting ethical companies, selecting quality materials, and designing clothes people can actively wear.
Fashion doesn’t need to be ‘fast’. Jake creates unique and timeless garments, well-crafted with the intention to “make it last.”
