Layers of Lace

Upcycled entirely from second-hand fabrics, this skirt combines three types of lace with color-shifting taffeta to create whimsical movement. Designed as an experiment in using bias drape to minimize waste, the skirt is made from two squares draped around a circular waist cutout, allowing the fabric to flow and shift beautifully with movement.
