Rolling Collars
This piece was designed for a Black & White ball held at the Detroit Museum of Art. Rolling Collars was inspired by 20th-century bishop sleeves and traditional white collar styles. The body of this piece was upcycled using bed sheets and an old button-up shirt. The bodice front was taken from the old bones of the button-up shirt.
Towering Tiers
This skirt is upcycled using remnant scraps of a white bed sheet. This skirt used breaks between the black and white fabrics to create an elongating effect through the waistband to the end of the skirt.
