Peach
This dress is upcycled entirely out of second hand synthetic velveteen fabric. This was inspired my medeival necklines, length, and color. I exprimented with pleating the fabric at different points of the hip levels. The pannels throughout the skirt are pleated as to create dynamic between across the fabric.
Alterations
A buyer reached out about altering this dress for a more comfortable fit. To meet their size specifications, I redesigned the body and skirt. The waist was taken in by 8 inches on each side, and 12 inches from the bottom. I also rebuilt the pleats across the hips to restore the draping effect.
